I live in beautiful Dunedin with my husband, Greg and four amazing daughters (3 teens and a tween). We’re a pretty sporty bunch which along with our lifestyle block (and plenty of gorse) keeps us busy. My background is in physical activity and health (MPhEd at University of Otago’s School of Physical Education). I have taught PE and Health in secondary schools and have worked with young families in the community setting. Prior to my current position, I oversaw the Work placement programme, a cornerstone of our degree for the second and third-year students. I am passionate about active learning and how to facilitate the integration of their course work with their work placement to maximise learning.  I hope to make this a research focus in the future.
